George,

Checking in with a fishing report.

Day one Dragin Fly: Slow day. Trolled for about two hours and nothing. Found a large school of spinner dolphin and the tuna were there. Caught 8 yellowfin and one gaffer dolphin. Fun time catching the tuna. Averaged about 10 pounds each.

Day two Dragin fly: Hooked and caught a 250 class blue marlin right out of the gate. Then, the dolphin rodeo was on. Caught 15 gaffers until we were interrupted by a 400 class blue marlin, which my daughter caught. We landed around 10 more gaffers before calling it a day. Also boated one 20 pound class wahoo.

Day three Wing Man: Caught a rooster right off the bat trolling live bait. Bite slowed and moved about 10 miles offshore and caught 8 gaffer dolphin on a current line. Moved back inshore and Molli got her rooster to call it a day.

In summary, we had a great trip. Neither of us had caught a blue marlin or a rooster fish. Watching Alberto work was also a treat. What a worker. We have never had fresh Mahi that we caught 1 hour earlier served as lunch. Never had a hot meal prepared for us while fishing. Los SueƱos is a awesome place to stay and you guys have been on the spot with any questions. Thanks.
