Sorry for the late email - it got crazy after returning
home with such a big family.
I’ve had the opportunity to fish in a number of places,
but CR has topped them all! I say that in spite of breezy, overcast weather
(our normal) 😂 but it was made
special by your crew.
We stepped on board the first day greeted by who I now
consider friends. They want to catch fish as much as anyone, but the care they
showed my group was paramount.
My poor brother in law and his kids laughably were one
and done, yet they devoured the food prepared earlier once they stepped foot on
land. They all said it puts an Oregon Inlet charter to shame!
My 10 year old, who puked his guts out each morning then
rallied (even though he’s offshore with us EVERY trip) made it clear it was the
best time of his life- 3 blue marlin!
He absolutely loved James - what a wonderful man, and a
very passionate fisherman.
My son Carson is the epitome of an introvert, yet he
wanted to send a Christmas whats app video (yes I learned that shit as well
while there) to him yesterday which James promptly replied. I can count the men
on one hand that Carson will open up to so you can imagine how it made me feel
to see him running in staring at the plotter asking questions.
I spent some time on the bridge with James running in
each day. He’s an example…Digging deep he really expressed a bucket list wish
of coming to our coast. I needed Rick to answer all of his white marlin
questions! If you guys ever want to make that happen, please come up to VB for
a few days offshore on me.
